The NORDICLite™ is Hold Fast Industries’ chiller rapid door — engineered for cold room environments operating between 0°C and +8°C. It is the entry point of the NORDIC cold storage door range, providing self-repairing rapid access for above-zero cold rooms, food storage facilities, fresh produce areas, dairy chambers and supermarket back-of-house cold rooms.
Refrigeration accounts for 30–50% of total energy costs in food distribution and cold chain facilities. A poorly performing door — one that lacks adequate insulation, stays open too long, or fails to seal tightly when closed — directly inflates that cost. The NORDICLite™ addresses each of these failure points: fast opening reduces the duration of each thermal breach, and the insulated curtain and tight perimeter seal minimise thermal transfer in the closed position.
