The REFLEX™ Material Difference

The MPM GRD 90 is a 90mm flexible industrial guardrail system manufactured from REFLEX™ — MPM’s patented technopolymer material developed in Italy specifically for warehouse and industrial protection applications. The GRD 90 is TÜV SÜD certified and EN 15512 compliant, providing independently verified impact resistance performance for rack-end protection, aisle separation, pedestrian zones and equipment protection in logistics, manufacturing and cold storage facilities.

MPM has been manufacturing REFLEX™ protection systems since 1985 — the company was founded by the Mason family specifically to address the failure modes of conventional steel and timber protection systems in industrial environments. Steel deforms permanently on first significant impact. Timber fails structurally and creates debris hazards. REFLEX™ flexes and returns to shape: it absorbs and distributes impact energy along the entire length of the profile, then springs back to its original position. After an MPM impact event, the protection system is still performing — it does not need to be replaced.
